I see the wingnuts are running around trying to tie the Occupy Wall Street movement with Nazis and Communists.

Oh, this is going to be fun.

Don Black’s foremost activity is operating Stormfront, the largest and most popular meeting place for white supremacists on the entire Internet. One of the very first hate sites created on the Web, it is widely accessed and has links to hate groups all over the world. Stormfront’s forum members interact with other white supremacists from around the globe, discussing ideology, upcoming events, and recruitment strategies, among countless other subjects. [...]

He became a member of the Tea Party Americans Coalition, created by a member of Stormfront as “a working group for serious White racialist ACTIVISTS in the US who want to effectively coordinate our efforts and intervene for effect in Tea Party-type events.” The group promotes anti-Semitic, racist, and anti-immigrant themes.

And,

Through its periodical tabloid, Citizens Informer, and its website, www.cofcc.org, the Council of Conservative Citizens [a Neo-Confederate hate group] both led and promoted Tea Party protests. In Mississippi, the organization advertised a “Mississippi Tea Party” at Flowood City Hall on March 9, 2010; a “Mississippi for Liberty March” at the state capitol on April 17; and the Upper East Mississippi chapter sponsored a Halloween Tea Party at the Tippah County Courthouse, in Ripley on October 31, 2009.

And,

Since April 2010, A3P members have organized, co-sponsored or freely distributed literature at no fewer than 10 Tea Party rallies in six states, including Augusta, Georgia; Harrison, Arkansas; Baton Rogue, Louisiana and throughout California, where A3P was founded in May 2009 by Freedom 14, a racist skinhead crew seeking to establish a more respectable-seeming political front group. [...]

“The Tea Parties are fertile ground for our activists,” said A3P Pennsylvania Chairman Steve Smith. “Tea Party supporters and the A3P share much common ground with regard to our political agendas.”

The A3P official position on race in America is clear: “If current demographic trends persist, European-Americans will become a minority in America in only a few decades time. The American Third Position will not allow this to happen.”

And,

The nativist movement also has a presence at the tea parties. William Gheen, the founder of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, or ALIPAC, E-mailed “allied leaders” urging them to join a coalition of his and other anti-immigration groups in attending tea parties. “The vast majority of attendees to these events are with us on immigration enforcement,” he wrote. Among the other groups that Gheen identified as being in the coalition are the San Diego Minutemen, the hate group Save Our State, and Voice of the People USA.

And,

The NAACP today issued a report detailing “the links between certain Tea Party factions and acknowledged racist hate groups in the United States.”

“These links should give all patriotic Americans pause,” NAACP president and CEO Benjamin Jealous writes in a forward.

Oh, and the wackjob that shot 8 people dead in Seal Beach? He was a card-carrying Teabagger.
